We like to find global concepts. Like the Sustainable Development Goals. People, politicians from all over the world meet to discuss problem X and to find a solution. It takes them ages to discuss changes and in the end everyone is disappointed because nothing was reached. The thing is, it’s impossible to come an understanding across the globe. The understanding of the world is too different. Even two people coming from different cities next to each other can’t agree. Worldviews differ outside your bedroom (sometimes even in it). Nonetheless, we try to find global solutions. We don’t need global rules and regulations, we need a global intention.
